Kampen, an old Hanseatic port on the IJssel, lends its name to a lamp with that same plain, practical grace.

Two matte shades, each shaped like a shallow folded leaf, sit at the ends of long satin-brass rods that pivot from a compact backplate. Each arm swings left and right and each shade turns freely, so the two pools of light can be aimed apart or brought together. It plugs into an outlet on a clear cord, or can be hardwired by an electrician for a cordless wall.

Hang it above a bed to light both sides, beside a reading chair, or over a console in the hall where a single fixture needs to cover a wide stretch of wall.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0751/5632/4487/files/bramley-house-kampen-twin-swing-arm-wall-sconce-jet-01-front-pr.webp?v=1793570158
