HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

There's a quiet confidence in furniture that embraces weight and volume. With its robust, oversized pillar legs and softly contoured edges, this table belongs to a sculptural tradition in modern design, one that treats a piece more as an object to be looked at than a plain surface to use.

Handcrafted from solid wood in a rich, claret finish, it brings a grounded, anchoring presence to a seating area. Because the shape is so delightfully chunky and tactile, it balances lighter, airier things beautifully: a vintage linen sofa, a bright bouclé chair. It's built to hold the centre of the room, and looks particularly handsome under a low-hanging pendant with nothing on top but a favourite ceramic bowl.

Care

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
