HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

An open frame instead of a solid body is what keeps a side table from becoming a small cupboard you have to look at. It also means the table reads as air rather than as mass, which a crowded room needs more of.

Solid wood in a warm amber finish, built as a bold cylinder with a softly curved open framework and two display shelves inside it. Twenty-two and a half inches high and eighteen across, so it stands level with a sofa arm and holds a lamp without wobbling.

Use the shelves for things that look like something: a stack of books, a bowl, a plant that trails over the edge. An open table rewards what you put in it, so treat the shelves as display rather than storage and the piece does half the styling for you.

Care

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
