HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

A round side table solves a problem square ones create: no corner to catch a hip, no edge to line up with anything, so it can sit at the end of a sofa or beside a bed without having to agree with the furniture around it.

This one is turned from solid wood in a warm chestnut, the grain running in unbroken rings around the drum, with two open shelves inside. Eighteen inches across and twenty-two and a half high, with the shelves deep enough for books laid flat.

At that height it sits level with most sofa arms, which is the height you want and not the height most side tables are built to. Keep it simple on top: one lamp, one book, one small thing with a bit of weight to it. The shelves will take everything else you were going to pile up there.

Care

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
