HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Most coffee tables ask you to choose between a hard surface you can set a glass on and a soft one you can put your feet on. This one declines the question and gives you a leather top that does both without apology.

Almond-finished wood carries a round leather top, with four broad flat uprights and a round shelf set between them, so the whole thing is open at the sides and you see straight through to the rug. The uprights rise just above the top edge, which is the detail that stops it reading as an ordinary four-legged table.

The leather top takes a tray without complaint and takes feet without a second thought. The shelf is the quiet part of the design and the part you will use most: everything that was going to clutter the top now lives six inches below it, visible enough to find and low enough to ignore.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: Tobacco leather upholstered top over a solid hardwood frame in almond, four broad flat uprights, round lower shelf.

Boxed dimensions: Height 20.8 in, Width 38 in, Depth 38 in, Weight 61.73 lbs.

Care

Leather
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For marks, use a barely damp cloth and let it dry naturally. Avoid solvents and household cleaners. The leather will soften and deepen in colour with use, which is rather the point of it.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
