HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

A tall stool with a back and arms is a more sociable thing than a bare perch. Italians have long understood it: the evening aperitivo can run on for an hour or more, and a seat that holds you comfortably keeps the conversation going.

This one carries a single band of upholstery that loops from the back down into the arms, leaving an open curve behind. The 30-inch seat suits a bar-height counter or island, the cushion is deep foam under a stain-resistant performance velvet, and a gold-toned footrest runs between the legs to rest your feet. Non-marking pins guard the floor, and the stools need only light assembly.

Line the pair up at a home bar or a high kitchen island for weekend brunch, cocktails before dinner or a laptop on a slow morning. The warm velvet and gold suit dark cabinetry, a marble top and a row of glass pendants. This listing is for a set of two stools.

Care

Velvet upholstery
The polyester velvet carries cleaning code S, which means spot cleaning only, with a water-free dry-cleaning solvent. Never use water or steam. Blot spills straight away rather than rubbing, and vacuum regularly with a brush attachment. Before using any cleaner, test it first on a small area out of sight. Keep out of prolonged direct sun.

Metal footrest
Wipe with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth and dry straight after. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can scratch the gold finish.

A Note on Velvet
Velvet shows soft shading or pressure marks where the pile lies in different directions. This is a characteristic of the fabric and part of how it catches the light.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
