HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Some bedside tables understand that not everything wants to be hidden away. This one keeps an open shelf up top for the book you are actually reading, with two drawers below for everything you would rather not look at. It is handcrafted from solid timber in a soft, stone-washed grey, the finish pale and weathered with the grain left open, the colour of old painted country furniture that has quietly faded through a few decades of morning light.

The drawers sit behind a softly curved front, each drawn on a single antique-style brass knob, the whole thing raised on turned bun feet. A shelf for what you are using and drawers for what you are not: practical without making a thing of it, which is rather the point.

Materials & Dimensions

Care

Metal knobs
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; keep polish off the surrounding wood.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
