HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

The best bedside tables are the ones you stop noticing, in the good way: always there, always useful, holding the small business of the end of the day. This is one of those. Handcrafted from solid timber in a warm chestnut finish, deep and softly reddened, with the grain left open so it reads as real wood rather than a coat of colour.

Three graduated drawers sit behind a softly shaped, scalloped front, their panelled fronts adding a little architectural depth, each drawn on a single antique-style brass knob. The whole thing is raised on turned bun feet that lift it just clear of the floor. Low, generous, and unhurried.

It asks for nothing and keeps everything within arm's reach: a lamp, a book, a glass of water, whatever you want close by once the light goes down.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: 100% solid hardwood in warm Chestnut finish, sculpted panel detailing, three drawers with round knobs, rounded bun feet.

Care

Metal knobsDust with a soft, dry cloth; keep polish off the surrounding wood.

TimberKeep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variationThis piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
