HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

A pedestal base keeps the floor clear, which matters more than people expect: no four legs to vacuum around, no four legs to catch a chair on, just one column and open floor underneath it.

Solid wood in a warm amber finish, with deep fluting worked into the pedestal and an unbroken circular top above it. Eighteen inches across and twenty high, with the top left entirely clear so the base is the only thing asking for attention.

It will take a lamp and still have room for a glass, which is the usual test and one a lot of small tables fail. Beside an armchair, at the end of a bed, or at the turn of a hallway where something small has to sit without getting in the way of anybody passing it.

Care

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
