BH | Studio Comillas 24-Inch Steel Console Vanity

The console sink, a basin carried on slender legs with open space beneath, arrived with the first tiled bathrooms of the early twentieth century, when a floor you could see and wash was the mark of a sanitary house. Through the 1920s and 1930s its metal legs and towel bar became a fixture of apartment and hotel bathrooms, polished nickel and brass marking a building put up with care.

This 24-inch vanity sets a glossy white ceramic basin on a stainless steel frame finished in Brass or Jet, with matching brackets that hold the basin to the frame. Basin and frame fix to the wall for a secure, steady fit, and the slim legs rest on non-marking caps that protect tile and wood. A crossbar ties the legs together low down. The basin is drilled for one faucet, and the glazed ceramic wipes clean with ease. Assembly is required.

It is sized for a powder room, a guest bath or a small bathroom off the bedroom, where an open base keeps a tight room feeling generous. White with Brass or Jet is a classic pairing: hang an oval mirror in a matching frame above, add a faucet in the same finish and a glass soap dish, and fold a linen hand towel over the crossbar. It installs like any vanity. This listing is for one vanity: the ceramic basin and its steel frame. The faucet and other fixtures are not included.
