HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Comporta is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down: pine and rice fields, sand underfoot, rooms full of natural materials and not much fuss. This drum coffee table carries that easy, barefoot spirit, a simple round form wrapped in hand-woven rattan, warm and tactile and completely unpretentious.

A solid wood top and base give it structure and a proper, usable surface, while the cylindrical body is wrapped in a fine natural weave that softens the whole thing and catches the light. There's no hardware, no legs, nothing to fuss over: just a warm wooden disc floating on a column of texture.

Float it in front of a sofa as a relaxed, low centrepiece, or use it in a sunroom or a bright, plant-filled corner where its natural materials feel right at home. It pairs easily with linen, pale walls, and a bit of greenery, and its soft, round profile keeps a room from feeling too hard-edged.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: 100% solid hardwood with a rich amber finish, smooth round tabletop, warm rattan-wrapped base.

Product dimensions: Height 16.5 in, Width 30.3 in, Depth 30.3 in, Weight 44.09 lbs.

Boxed dimensions: Height 20.47 in, Width 34.25 in, Depth 34.25 in, Weight 50.71 lbs.

Care

Rattan
Dust the woven rattan with a soft brush or a vacuum on a low setting. Keep it dry — natural fibre doesn't love damp — and blot spills rather than soaking them. An occasional light mist in very dry air keeps the rattan from going brittle.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
