HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Comporta, the barefoot-luxe Portuguese beach town, long ago lent its name to a whole way of decorating: natural materials, easy shapes, nothing that takes itself too seriously. This is that look after dark, with the lights turned low.

It is a round drum table, its curved sides panelled in natural rattan and framed in a deep, near-black timber that gives the breezy coastal ease an evening mood: still relaxed, but dressed for later. The dark frame throws the warm, straw-toned rattan into relief, and the solid top takes a tray of drinks as happily as a stack of books. Proof that the coastal look needn't always mean pale-on-pale.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: 100% solid hardwood, espresso finish, handwoven rattan panels, drum/cylinder form.

Product dimensions: Height 14.17 in, Width 31.5 in, Depth 31.5 in, Weight 39.68 lbs.

Boxed dimensions: Height 18.11 in, Width 35.43 in, Depth 35.43 in, Weight 46.3 lbs.

Care

Rattan panels
Dust with a soft brush and wipe occasionally with a barely-damp cloth, drying promptly. Avoid pressing on the woven panels, and keep away from damp and very dry heat, which can slacken the weave over time.

Timber
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners on the dark finish. Use a tray or coasters under drinks. Keep out of direct, sustained sunlight. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
As the rattan is hand-woven and the timber hand-finished, slight variations in weave, grain, and tone are natural and unique to your table.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
