HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

A woven inset in a tabletop is a trick worth knowing. It does one thing a carved or raised detail cannot: give a large flat surface some texture without raising anything off it, so the table still works as a table and you have not paid for ornament with usefulness.

A circular silhouette in solid wood with a warm amber finish, with finely woven rattan set into the top and a solid base below. Thirty-two inches across and sixteen high, which sits comfortably low against a deep-seated sofa.

Round and low with nothing sharp on it, which makes it easy in a room with children and easy in a room with a curved sofa. A tray will sit flat on the weave if you want somewhere hard for a glass, and the rattan keeps a wide top from reading as a plain disc of wood.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: Solid hardwood base in an amber finish, round silhouette, finely woven inset top.

Product dimensions: Height 16 in, Width 32 in, Depth 32 in, Weight 55.12 lbs.

Boxed dimensions: Height 20 in, Width 36 in, Depth 36 in, Weight 66.14 lbs.

Care

Woven rattan
Dust with a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction, working along the weave. Keep it out of damp rooms and away from direct heat, which dries the fibre and makes it brittle.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
