HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

When a chair relies on a completely clean, unornamented silhouette, the materials have to do all the heavy lifting. Miami Beach's boutique hotels worked this out decades ago: a room could read as expensive precisely because it left so much out, all cool restraint and considered materials rather than ornament. This chair has the same instinct.

A curved, channel-stitched bouclé tub in soft alabaster sits cradled in an exposed frame of warm chestnut timber, its flat, angled legs doing the architectural talking while the upholstery handles the comfort. The profile is low, the seat deep and generous, modern without being precious, minimal without being cold. Set it beside its counterpart, the Delano Plinth Table, and you've a quiet, boutique-hotel corner for a living room or any room.

Care

Bouclé
Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment. If a loop snags, snip it level with scissors — never pull it. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Keep out of direct, sustained sunlight; a pale bouclé shows soiling, so treat marks promptly.

Timber frame
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills promptly and avoid harsh cleaners on the finish. Check the leg joints once or twice a year and gently firm any fixings that have loosened. Keep out of direct, sustained sunlight to preserve the chestnut tone. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
As the frame is hand-finished and the chair hand-upholstered, slight variations in grain, tone, and texture are natural and unique to your piece.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
