HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Salt is the washed finish in the Langham range: a soft, weathered grey-white where the grain still shows through, as though the piece has spent a season somewhere with the windows open.

Solid wood with carved spindle legs, a spacious rectangular top and a full open shelf below it. Forty-four inches long and twenty-four deep, which is a proper sitting-room table rather than one of the small ones that gets pushed about and never quite serves.

The lower shelf is the useful part: books, trays and board games live there instead of on the floor, and a coffee table that absorbs clutter is worth more than one that only displays it. Pale wood also keeps a large top from reading as a barrier between the sofa and everything else in the room.

Care

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
