HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

The brief here was a coffee table you can put your feet on, and the answer turned out to be simple: stop pretending those are two different pieces of furniture. Most households have been using one as the other for years in any case.

Thirty-five inches across and thirteen high, which is the height that works against a deep-seated sofa and exactly right for legs. The top is tufted burnt caramel leather, the base beneath it solid wood, and the whole thing stands on four carved ball feet.

Round is the part that matters in a tight sitting room: no corner to walk into and no edge that has to line up with the sofa. Set a tray on one half and leave the other alone. The tufting pulls the leather taut across the top, so the surface stays even wherever you use it.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: Tufted leather top in burnt caramel over a solid hardwood base, carved ball feet.

Boxed dimensions: Height 15.2 in, Width 39.2 in, Depth 39.2 in, Weight 50.71 lbs.

Care

Leather
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For marks, use a barely damp cloth and let it dry naturally. Avoid solvents and household cleaners. The leather will soften and deepen in colour with use, which is rather the point of it.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
