HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Pimlico was laid out in the 1820s in long runs of white stucco terraces, and like most houses of that vintage the rooms were planned before anyone thought about where a bedside table might go. Radiators under windows, doors that swing the wrong way, beds pushed hard against a wall.

This is the answer to all of that: one of the smallest pieces we carry, hung rather than standing, a single drawer over an open slot in solid hardwood with a warm amber finish. Because nothing touches the floor you hang it at whatever height suits your mattress.

It takes a lamp, a phone and a book, and asks for nothing else. Each one is finished by hand, so the grain across the drawer front belongs to that piece alone. It solves a problem larger furniture simply cannot.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: 100% solid hardwood in a warm amber finish, one drawer over an open slot, wall-hung with no legs.

Product dimensions: Height 10 in, Width 12 in, Depth 10 in, Weight 9.04 lbs.

Boxed dimensions: Height 14 in, Width 16 in, Depth 14 in, Weight 12.13 lbs.

Care

TimberKeep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the surface keeps the finish fed. Wipe spills quickly rather than letting them sit.

Fixing to the wallThis piece hangs on the wall and needs fixings suited to your wall type. Fix into studs or use proper masonry anchors. It is sized to carry a lamp, a book and a glass, not a person's weight.

A note on handmade variationThis piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in colour and dimension are part of it and not faults.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
