Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece. A pale, weathered finish shows marks a little more readily than a dark one, so wipe spills promptly. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

Glass
Clean the glazed doors with a soft, lint-free cloth. Spray any cleaner onto the cloth, not the glass, so nothing runs down into the wood or the door joints.

Metal knobs
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. The knobs are finished in a dark, aged metal, meant to read timeworn against the pale wood, so they want nothing more than an occasional wipe — no polishing needed.

Stability
A large glazed cabinet like this is safest anchored to the wall with the included strap — sensible on any tall cabinet, and doubly so with glass doors and children about.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood and washed by hand, so no two take the finish exactly alike — variation in tone and weathering is the character of the technique, not a fault.
