HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Stone and fluting have belonged together since the temples of ancient Greece, where every column was cut with long vertical channels to catch the light. Regency and Art Deco designers each revived the grooved surface in their own way, and a marble basin over a channelled wooden case brings that classical partnership into the bathroom.

This is a floating vanity: it hangs on the wall with open floor below, which makes a small bathroom feel larger and leaves the floor clear to clean. The cabinet is 100% solid hardwood, fluted all the way around its softly rounded front corners and finished in Blonde, Alabaster or Cocoa. A marble top with a curved, inset basin sits above, drilled with three holes for an 8-inch widespread faucet, so any widespread style you like will fit. Two soft-close doors with small black knobs open onto adjustable shelving, and cut-outs in the back make room for the plumbing. The top is rated to 132 lbs. Assembly is required, and it installs like any wall-hung vanity.

At 24 inches wide it suits a powder room, a guest bath or a small hall bath where every inch counts. Inside, keep spare towels, toilet paper and a basket of toiletries out of sight. Fluted wood and veined stone feel calm and spa-like: pair it with a round mirror, a brushed brass or matte black faucet, white zellige tile and a linen hand towel. This listing is for one vanity, marble top and basin included; faucet not included.

Care

Wood frame
Dust with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe occasionally with a barely damp one, drying straight after. Wipe up splashes and standing water promptly, especially along the top edge and around the base and legs, and keep the bathroom well ventilated so moisture does not linger. Keep out of direct sun and away from radiators and heat vents.

Marble top
Marble is a natural, porous stone. Wipe the top and basin with a soft cloth and warm water, or a mild pH-neutral cleaner made for stone, and dry after. Wipe up spills promptly, particularly toothpaste, cosmetics, soap and anything acidic, and avoid acidic, abrasive or bleach-based cleaners, which can etch or dull the surface.

Fixing to the wall
Fix the cabinet into wall studs or with anchors rated for the load, using fixings suited to your wall, ideally with a licensed plumber handling the connections. Check the fixings now and then.

A Note on Natural Variation
Where natural materials such as wood are used, slight variations in grain and colour from one piece to the next are to be expected, and give each its own character.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
