HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

The two-tier table, a top over a low open shelf between four legs, has stood in halls and sitting rooms since the nineteenth century, keeping what you need close and in view. Set a basin into the top and the same plan becomes a vanity with the open, airy look of a side table.

Forty-eight inches wide with a single basin centred in the top, this vanity gives a long run of counter on either side for everything you use each morning. The ceramic basin and countertop, in White or Jet, are made in one piece, drilled with 8-inch centerset faucet holes, with no seam around the bowl. Three drawer fronts with black metal pulls line the top: the centre one is fixed to clear the plumbing, and the two end drawers open for real storage, room for hairdryers, brushes and spare toiletries. An open shelf runs the full width below. Under the Blonde or Chestnut veneer is engineered wood and solid hardwood, raised on tapered legs with adjustable, floor-friendly feet. It is rated to 375 lbs and requires assembly.

It suits a primary bath that wants one large basin and plenty of surface. The open shelf and ceramic top feel airy: pair it with white walls, a wide mirror, matte black sconces, a black faucet, and baskets and rolled towels lined up along the shelf below. This listing is for one vanity cabinet with its ceramic basin top; the faucet and other fixtures are not included.

Care

Wood finish
Dust with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe occasionally with a barely damp one, drying straight after. Wipe up splashes and standing water promptly, especially along the top edge and around the base and legs, and keep the bathroom well ventilated so moisture does not linger. Keep out of direct sun and away from radiators and heat vents.

Ceramic basin
Clean the countertop and basin with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Avoid scouring pads and harsh chemicals, which can dull the glaze.

Metal pulls
Wipe the pulls with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can wear the finish.

Installation
Install and connect this vanity as you would any freestanding vanity, ideally by a licensed plumber.

A Note on Natural Variation
Where natural materials such as wood are used, slight variations in grain and colour from one piece to the next are to be expected, and give each its own character.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
