HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Wall-mounted bedside tables solve a problem that only becomes obvious once it is gone: nothing to vacuum around, nothing to kick in the dark, no legs breaking up the floor. The room reads wider straight away, and it costs you nothing to achieve.

Solid wood in a warm chestnut with a rounded curved form and two small drawers on polished knobs. Twelve inches wide, ten high, ten deep. The curve matters at this size, because a small square box on a wall looks like a fitting and a small rounded one looks like furniture.

Small enough for a narrow room or a child's room, and deep enough for a lamp and a glass. Fix it properly: a floating piece is only as good as what is holding it up, and plasterboard alone will not do. Hang it level with the mattress top and the bed gains a foot of visual space.

Care

Wall fixing
This piece is wall-mounted and must be fixed into studs, or with fixings rated for the wall type and the load. If you are not certain what is behind the plaster, have it installed by someone who is.

Metal knobs
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; keep polish off the surrounding wood.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
