HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Not every bed needs a full bedside table, and in a small room a big one just makes the bed look crowded. The proportions go wrong long before the storage runs out.

This is the small-room answer: eighteen inches wide and sixteen high, in solid wood with a warm amber finish, smooth rounded edges and a single drawer on a brass knob. The rounded edges are a practical detail as much as a decorative one in a room you walk through in the dark.

Enough for a lamp, a book and a glass of water, which is all most people put there in any case. It works in a guest room, a child's room, or beside a daybed where a larger table would simply be in the way. Two of them either side of a bed read as a deliberate pair.

Care

Metal knobs
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; keep polish off the surrounding wood.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
