HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Small bedside tables have to choose between a drawer and a shelf. This one takes both and stays at eighteen inches wide, which is the useful part and the reason it fits where the others do not.

Solid wood in a warm russet with a clay linen drawer front and a single brass handle, one drawer below and an open shelf above it. Twenty-two inches high, so it stands level with most mattresses rather than below them.

The linen front is what keeps it from reading as a small brown box: in a pale room it is the warmest thing in it, and in a dark one it is the brightest. Use the shelf for what you are reading and the drawer for everything you would rather not look at last thing at night.

Materials & Dimensions

Materials: Solid hardwood in a russet finish, clay linen drawer front, brass handle, one drawer below an open shelf.

Product dimensions: Height 22 in, Width 18 in, Depth 14 in, Weight 22.05 lbs.

Boxed dimensions: Height 26 in, Width 22 in, Depth 18 in, Weight 25.35 lbs.

Care

Woven rattan
Dust with a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction, working along the weave. Keep it out of damp rooms and away from direct heat, which dries the fibre and makes it brittle.

Brass handles
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Leave the patina to come on its own; polish only if you want it bright.

Timber
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
This piece is made by hand from solid wood. Grain patterns, knots, and small variations in tone or dimension occur naturally and are not faults. If you are buying several pieces to sit together in one room, order them together where possible, as batches can differ slightly in colour.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
