HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Andalusian houses keep their small tables close to hand, a round top by a favourite chair for a glass of sherry, a lamp and the book of the moment. This one follows the same instinct, with a single solid support that keeps clear of chair arms and knees.

Its round top is wood veneer over a sturdy wood core, lacquered so a damp cloth is all it needs, and it stands on a recessed metal column set into a wide drum of powder-coated steel in a burnished metallic tone. The broad drum keeps it steady, and the overhanging top lets it tuck in tight beside a sofa. It is strong enough for a lamp and a pile of books, and it arrives fully assembled.

Put it at the end of a sofa with a reading lamp and a glass of water, or beside a velvet armchair in a wood-panelled study. It works as a bedside table too. Rust, olive and deep green textiles suit the dark wood and warm metal.

Care

Wood veneer top
The lacquered top wipes clean with a soft, barely damp cloth; dry straight after. Use coasters under glasses and hot dishes, and keep out of direct sun and away from radiators and heat vents to protect the wood.

Metal base
Wipe with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth and dry straight after. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can scratch the powder-coated finish.

A Note on Natural Variation
Where natural materials such as wood veneer are used, slight variations in grain and colour from one piece to the next are to be expected, and the burnished metal finish may show gentle shifts in tone. Both give each piece its own character.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
