HOUSE NOTE · ABOUT THIS PIECE

Why should our most beloved companions settle for anything less than hand-carved artistry? This is a pet bed that behaves like a decorative object first and a dog bed second, and makes no apology for it.

A solid-wood frame in a warm honey tone shows off genuine hand-carving: a foliate crest along the back, scrolled and shaped arms, and small carved rosettes where the legs meet the seat. Within it sits a plush cushion in a dapper, hard-wearing grey tweed, the padded surround wrapping three sides. The contrast between the sculptural timber and the structured wool has the cosy, timeless feel of an old estate library. Raised on neat turned legs, it meets your home's design standards while giving a loyal companion a genuinely royal place to rest.

Care

Tweed upholstery
Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment to lift hair and keep the weave even. Spot-clean spills promptly with a clean, damp cloth and a little mild soap, then blot dry. Keep out of direct, sustained sunlight to preserve the colour.

Timber frame
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills promptly and avoid harsh cleaners on the natural finish. Keep out of direct, sustained sunlight to preserve the honey tone. Check the leg fixings once or twice a year and firm any that have loosened with use. An occasional pass of beeswax on the unpainted wood keeps the sheen and extends the life of the piece.

A note on handmade variation
As each piece is upholstered by hand, slight variations in the weave and tone are natural and unique to your bed.

Shipping & Returns

Most pieces are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 2 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked Made to Order are built after you order, and the timing shown on that piece applies instead. Larger items ship by freight, and the carrier will call to arrange a delivery time that suits you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A few addresses, typically islands, peninsulas and remote rural routes, carry an additional fee from the carrier. If that applies to yours, we will email you the exact amount before your order is released, and you can accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Please inspect your piece on arrival and keep the packaging until you have. If anything is damaged or incorrect, photograph the piece and the box including the label, then email support@bramleyhousehome.com within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Because each piece ships directly from the maker, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind.
